The Maurine Church Coburn School of Nursing offers an associate of science degree leading to licensure as a registered nurse (RN), as well as professional and community health education courses.  The program is offered in partnership with Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. The Nursing and Health Sciences Department at Hartnell College offers four programs: Registered nursing; vocational nursing; emergency medical technician (EMT); and certified nursing assistant (CNA).

The Associate Degree Nursing program (ADN) at Cabrillo College is designed to prepare the student to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN).
