Family Birth Center- A Guided Tour and Orientation

Join us for a free tour and orientation of our Family Birth Center, led by one of our experienced labor and delivery nurses. You’ll see one of our 13 patient rooms — unless they are all in use — and have an opportunity to ask questions about what to expect when you are at Community Hospital. Each room is equipped for labor, delivery, recovery, and mother-baby care, with a pull-out couch for a loved on to stay with you. Our goal is to keep your family together — from the time you arrive until the time you and your newborn go home. Tours are open to those age 14 or older.

At the end of the Family Birth Center tour, we’ll provide you with a complimentary online childbirth class and companion booklet. You’ll be able to learn about labor, delivery, cesarean birth, breathing and relaxation techniques, postpartum recovery, and infant care at your own pace.
