Do men and women handle grief and bereavement differently? Statistics show that they do. Men tend to have less social support following a loss which can leave them feeling lonely and isolated. As a result, overwhelm and loss of control over one’s life are common feelings among men.
Hospice of the Central Coast is offering an 8-week grief support group for men experiencing grief from the loss of a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or friend. Be in the presence of others who have experienced similar losses.
