Our diabetes team is dedicated to providing you with the best education possible to help you manage your diabetes.

Diabetes Basics Program

The program provides education in diabetes self-management for individuals and families who live with diabetes. Classes and appointments are scheduled based on individual needs. Physician’s referral is required.

Sweet Success©

This California Diabetes and Pregnancy Program offers education for pregnant or gestational women who have diabetes. Physician’s referral is required.

Insulin Pump Program

This program is available for people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who are interested in using an insulin pump. Physician’s referral is required.

Continuous Glucose Monitoring Sensor (CGMS)

This system gathers in-depth glucose information for three consecutive days, facilitating the management of diabetes.Physician’s referral is required.

Changes you can make today

  • Eat small meals more often. Large meals raise your blood sugar more than small meals.
  • Limit foods high in sugar. High-sugar foods such as candy, fruit juice, and regular sodas can make your blood sugar rise quickly.
  • Take your diabetes medication as prescribed by your doctor.

Our Diabetes program is located at the Community Hospital Ryan Ranch Outpatient Campus.
