Substance abuse
Our Services
Our comprehensive programs can restore health, reunite families, and improve quality of life, self-respect, and dignity. Most importantly, our team knows that everyone is unique and requires individual treatment.
Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula’s Clint Eastwood Youth Program provides a structured program to treat drug and alcohol abuse as well as mental health problems for adolescents, 12 to 18 years old.
Our drug screening service helps parents deal with concerns about their teenagers possible drug use. We provide a saliva drug test that can be administered on the spot to detect the presence of cocaine, marijuana, opiates, amphetamines, methamphetamines, and PCP used within the last 10 to 12 hours.
Relapse-Prevention Services
With the guidance of our certified relapse-prevention therapists, treatment begins by grouping people with relapse issues to help them identify warning signs and triggers that lead to relapse. With these tools, the relapse cycle can be short circuited.
Support Groups and Seminars
Recovery is a lifelong process, so continued education and companionship are always available to prevent relapse and to learn more about the disease.
Medical Treatments
Chemical dependency-certified physicians and psychiatrists provide medical detoxification and appropriate medical treatment of coexisting mental disorders.
