Sponsored Care

Community Hospital provides quality care for everyone who comes through our doors, regardless of their ability to pay. The Sponsored Care Program is an essential resource for qualified members of the community who need assistance to cover medical expenses.

Our specialists take care of your medical crisis, but our donors ease the anxiety of many patients worried about how they will pay for their care. Gifts to Community Hospital's Sponsored Care Program help provide $25 million to  $30 million each year to local families when they need it most.

Testimonials

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for approving my husband’s application for the Sponsored Care Program. (We) will be paying it forward to help others as you have helped us. Your letter brought tears to our eyes and a huge sigh of relief."

"In addition to the life-saving services that I received I was also saved from a huge financial burden after being released from CHOMP. I don’t have health insurance and I’m living below the poverty line. As if saving my life wasn’t enough, I was also accepted for Sponsored Care by your staff. I am so grateful that the financial crisis that resulted from my heart attack has been avoided."

"Thank you very much for the 100 percent financial assistance through your Sponsored Care Program for my visits. In a very challenging time in my life, it is very deeply appreciated."

"I am an 81-year-old immigrant woman and for me, such a bill, following a visit to the Emergency room, was totally overwhelming. This heavy burden and worry was lifted from me last week, when I received your letter advising me that the hospital had been able to use your funds to pay my bill in full. I sincerely thank you for your kindness."

"To be free of the financial burden because of your Sponsored Care Program is a great blessing."
