About Community Hospital Foundation

The Development department of Community Hospital Foundation was established in order to facilitate contributions from private philanthropic sources in support of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.  Funds raised have helped the hospital meet growing demands for new and enhanced programs and technology while continuing to serve all patients, regardless of their financial circumstance.

The mission of the Development department is to be of service to the hospital and its patients by assisting and encouraging donors from every segment of the community. The staff of the department is well-equipped to work with a wide variety of donors using all available philanthropic tools. Donors find the environment in the department to be professional, efficient, and friendly.

Community Hospital has grown to depend on the good will of its friends in the community for ongoing philanthropic support. In the past five years, this good will has resulted in a total of $31,274,523 in donations, making possible the completion of the Pavilions Project as well as the provision of other life-saving services. We invite you to participate with us in our mission to continue to provide these services for our children and their children to come.
