Applicants must be a child or grandchild of a medical staff member at Community Hospital; a high school junior or senior or community college student; Monterey County resident for at least a year; and have  a desire to attend a four-year college.

This year’s winners are: Quinn Harris, Lauren Hendrick, Jeffrey Jang, Andrew Landon, Aaron Lewis, David Marangoni-Simonsen, James Ramseur, Farris Serio, and Ross Whitlock. Harris, Hendrick, Lewis, Serio, and Whitlock are high school juniors; the other recipients are seniors.
