Auxiliary seeks new members

MONTEREY, Calif. — The Auxiliary, a volunteer group founded at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula 56 years ago, is seeking new members.
Auxiliary members provide thousands of hours of volunteer service to patients and visitors every year, in areas including the Breast Care Center, Blood Center, information desk, and Fountain Court Cafe. Membership is open to adults and to college and high school students.
Orientation sessions for prospective adult and collegiate volunteers are scheduled from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 28 in the Auxiliary Lounge at Community Hospital, 23625 Holman Highway. For information about joining, please call (831) 625-4555 or go online at www.chompauxiliary.org.
