MONTEREY, Calif. — More than 200 recipes are featured in a new cookbook from the Auxiliary of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, now available for $15.95.
Auxiliary members, hospital staff, and members of the medical staff contributed their favorite recipes for the book, which raises funds for hospital projects designated by the Auxiliary. The spiral-bound, hardcover book, Recipes to CHOMP On, includes recipes for appetizers, breakfast foods, soups, salads, main dishes, side dishes, desserts, and drinks.
“The book makes a wonderful holiday gift and sales benefit the community by benefitting the hospital,” says Ann O’Neill, president of the Auxiliary.
The book may be purchased at the hospital’s Comforts gift shop, which is staffed by Auxiliary volunteers, or online at www.chomp.org. For information, call the gift shop at 625-4823 or the Auxiliary at 625-4555.
