Diabetes talk, free screening at Peninsula Wellness

MONTEREY, Calif. — Myths and prevention related to diabetes will be
discussed at a free event at Peninsula
Wellness Center
in Marina on
Thursday, April 19. Participants will also receive a free glucose test and a guest
pass to the wellness center.
Michelle
Barth, a registered dietitian at Community
Hospital of the Monterey
Peninsula, and Agnieszka Lech, a
doctor at Peninsula Primary Care in Marina,
will lead the discussion on one of the most-talked-about health conditions of
our time.
The
event is from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the center, 2920 2nd Ave., Marina.
