MONTEREY, Calif. — T-shirts and treats will be given to donors during Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula’s annual Halloween blood drive, October 28-November 1.
Get a “Get Caught Up in Saving Lives” spider-web shirt and check out the Blood Center’s Halloween decorations during the drive. Win prizes from the Blood Center and from radio station KRML — renamed “102pint1” during the drive.
Blood donated at the center is used by our community, supplying about 99 percent of the need of patients at Community Hospital. The Blood Center is open weekdays, but will be closed October 29 for an off-site drive. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended, by calling 625-4814. The Blood Center is at 576 Hartnell Street in downtown Monterey, across from the post office.
