MONTEREY, Calif. — Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula has joined a community-wide show of support by providing a $10,000 grant to the Food Bank for Monterey County to assist with its recovery from a devastating warehouse fire.
“We are, of course, happy to be able to help financially during such a critical time for the Food Bank,” said Dr. Steven Packer, Community Hospital Foundation president. “The Food Bank is an extremely important service in our community, helping to provide food for nearly 20-percent of our county. We wish them a full recovery.”
