About the Auxiliary
Founded in 1955 by eight community-minded women, the Auxiliary has grown to include more than 450 volunteers. Since its inception, 4 million hours of service have been donated by our volunteers.
Find out more about the three types of memberships: junior, collegiate, and adult. Members achieve active status upon successfully completing training.
Types of membership
Junior members are high school students. Juniors pay one-time only dues when they become active members. Typical volunteer time is one two hour shift per week.
Collegiate members are college students who need staffing flexibility to meet the demands of changing class schedules. Collegiates pay one-time only dues when they become an active member.
Adult members are men or women who can commit to a regular schedule of four hour shifts, four times per month.
Dues are $10 per year.
