The Community Hospital Auxiliary has long been recognized as one of the outstanding service organizations on the Monterey Peninsula. Founded in 1955 by eight community-minded women, the Auxiliary has grown to include more than 350 adult volunteers, including 40 collegiate volunteers, and 150 junior volunteers, and 600 Friends of The Auxiliary, both men and women. Since 1955, 3.6 million hours of service have been donated by our volunteers.
