Women’s Forum for Health Luncheon 2017
Join us for our annual Women’s Forum for Health Luncheon, featuring Vonda Wright, MD, orthopedic surgeon and authority on active aging and mobility.
The Women’s Forum for Health raises awareness and funds for health issues that affect women and their families. This year the Women’s Forum for Health Fund will again support the position of our pediatric health coach, hired as part of our Diabetes Initiative. The coach visits five pediatric offices within the county and works on a diet and exercise plan with children who are identified as being at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Funding will ensure the coach can continue to assist children in our community to ensure they don’t develop a preventable disease.
