Meet our radiologists
Dr. Susan Roux, medical director
Dr. Roux recently celebrated her 20th year as a radiologist focusing on breast imaging and intervention. In 1998, she completed a six-month fellowship with Dr. Laszlo Tabar. She joined the Carol Hatton Breast Care Center in 2002 after working in a hospital network with four breast centers in Southern California and in one of the largest, oldest center in the United States, in Rochester, New York.
Before going into medicine, Dr. Roux was a high school science teacher and the explanatory skills she developed are an invaluable asset in her interactions with patients. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her attention to detail in breast imaging and in her work to ensure that area residents have the best diagnostic technology.
Dr. Roux did her radiology training at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics and is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She is a grandmother of four, an art collector, a golfer, and a sailor.
