Health Libraries and Resource Centers
Community Hospital offers the services of a professional librarian and volunteer staff through a public-lending library at the Cancer Center in the main hospital and Hospice of the Central Coast. Information on numerous health-related topics is available through our extensive collection of books, CDs, DVDs, and more.
MEDLINEplus brings together authoritative information from NLM, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations. Preformulated MEDLINE searches are included in MedlinePlus and give easy access to medical journal articles. MedlinePlus also has extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and the latest health news in multiple languages.
