Types of vaccine

Monterey County receives both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The type you receive will depend on availability.

Second-dose information

You will receive your second dose of the vaccine approximately three to six weeks after you received your first dose, depending on the timing of vaccine delivery. A link to schedule your second dose appointment – which will be held at the same location where you received your first dose – will be sent via email approximately one week prior to the second clinic. Given the current limitations on vaccine supply, this second dose clinic will be your only opportunity to receive your second dose. You must make every effort to make and keep your appointment during the clinic days offered to you.
