Sleep deprived? Count the reasons at free lecture

MARINA, Calif. — Sleep experts will talk about why so many people have trouble sleeping and what they can do about it, in a free lecture Thursday at Community Hospital’s Peninsula Wellness Center.
Dr. Richard Kanak, medical director of Community Hospital’s accredited Sleep Disorders Center, and Sara Jenkins, lead technologist at the center, will talk about common sleep disorders including sleep apnea and treatment approaches ranging from lifestyle changes to CPAP breathing assistance devices.
The lecture is from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the conference room at Peninsula Wellness Center, 2920 2nd Avenue, (Highway 1 at Imjin Parkway) Marina. Registration is required by calling (888) 452-4667.
