MONTEREY, Calif. — Nearly 1 in 5 Americans suffers from knee pain and related loss of mobility and for some, surgery may provide the only relief. Dr. Jeffrey Carter, an orthopedic surgeon in Monterey, will discuss knee replacement and repair at a free event at Peninsula Wellness Center in Marina.
Carter will talk about the approaches, risks, and results of partial and total join replacement as well as revision of a previous knee surgery. The event is from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 11 at Community Hospital’s Peninsula Wellness Center, 2920 2nd Avenue, Marina. Registration is required; sign up now.
