Hospice of the Central Coast needs volunteers

Monterey, Calif. — Hospice of the Central Coast is looking for volunteers to provide support to patients who are receiving hospice care and services.
Hospice of the Central Coast, which is part of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, serves patients throughout Monterey and San Benito counties and volunteers are especially needed in Salinas. Hospice is seeking professional hair stylists and masseuses, people to provide transportation to medical appointments, visits to patients, respite for caregivers, grief support, and complementary therapies such as Reiki and Healing Touch®, aromatherapy, and therapeutic music.
An informational open house is scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. September 27 at Community Hospital’s Ryan Ranch Outpatient Campus, 2 Upper Ragsdale, Building D, Suite 120, Monterey.
