Hospice volunteers provide patients facing a serious illness or a life threatening condition with transportation to and from CHOMP for medical treatment. The program is free to patients who are able to get in and out of the car independently. Scheduling is coordinated through the Health Resource Library, located in the Comprehensive Cancer Center. One week advance notice is required and rides are limited to the availability of volunteers.

Spaces for patients are located closest to the hospital, as well as in the parking garage.
Handicapped access spaces are close to the hospital, as well as near the elevators in the garage. If you need help parking, a Security staff member is available to assist you at all times.
Valet service is available for any patient or visitor that requests assistance. Attendants are at the entry plaza and Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Valet service is available 7:30 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. Monday- Friday, holidays excluded.
The Auxiliary reception desk or Security can help you call for a taxi.
Bus schedules are available at the Auxiliary reception desk, which can be reached by dialing extension 4881 from the patient's bedside telephone.
Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) has weekday service to the hospital on lines 3, 92 and 94.
