Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) rehabilitation program

A supervised 8-week exercise and education program for people with leg pain caused by peripheral artery disease (PAD). It's designed to improve your walking ability, decrease leg pain, improve quality of life, and reduce risk factors for PAD.
Assessment
Clinical exercise physiologists and registered nurses provide an individual assessment to establish goals and evaluate exercise function.
Treatment plan
Each participant receives an individualized treatment plan which includes:

Supervised exercise training 2-3 times a week

Blood pressure/EKG monitoring as needed

Personal exercise prescription

Risk factor and symptom education and management

Guidelines for creating an independent exercise program
Referral
A referral from a doctor is required to participate in the program. We can help obtain this.
Cost
Many health insurance plans reimburse for these services. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
