Mobile Clinic

More than 2,300 people are homeless in Monterey County, lacking ready access to basic necessities like food, running water, shelter, and healthcare. Montage Health, parent company of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, is committed to making a positive impact on healthcare delivery to these community members through our mobile medical clinic. 


  • Serving targeted areas on a scheduled basis
  • Staffed by a nurse practitioner, other clinicians, and volunteers
  • Two exam rooms
  • First-come, first-served

Treatment services

  • Sore throats, earaches, coughs, sinus issues
  • Minor infections including: wound, skin and urinary
  • Basic wound care
  • Diabetes: Checking blood sugar, oral medications for blood sugar control, education
  • High blood pressure: Blood pressure checks, oral medications

MONDAYS 10:30 a.m.–1 p.m.
Veteran's Transition Center
220 Twelfth St., Marina
Provides care for all patients in need.

MONDAYS 2–6 p.m.
Walmart, 150 Beach Rd., Marina
Provides care for all patients in need.

TUESDAYS 9 a.m.–Noon
147 El Dorado St., Monterey
Provides care to the clients of the
Gathering for Women only.

TUESDAYS 1–4:30 p.m.
Dennis The Menace Playground
1725 Pearl St., Monterey
Provides care for all patients in need.

WEDNESDAYS 12–4 p.m.
Monterey Peninsula College
980 Fremont St. (parking lot C, next to the gym), Monterey
Provides care for all patients in need.

THURSDAYS 2–6 p.m.
Walgreens, 1055 Fremont Blvd., Seaside
Provides care for all patients in need.

In bad weather, the clinic will be open to see limited patients. The clinic will be closed on holidays.

    An alternative option (online + classroom) for Healthcare Providers seeking completion of an initial or renewal BLS course with decreased classroom time.

    Learn how and what can you eat after you have had gastric bypass or lap-band surgery.

    5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
    Prevent or slow cognitive decline. Learn common signs and symptoms of aging, and symptoms of a brain-health condition. Know when to seek early treatment.

    This informational meeting by surgeon Dr. Mark Vierra or Dr. Steven S. Chang is free and open to the public. Attendance is highly recommended before making an appointment for weight-loss surgery consultation.

    The BLS course for Healthcare Providers trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
