Whether you’re new to running or are a seasoned runner hoping to improve your health and performance, Community Hospital, Montage Wellness Center, and the Big Sur International Marathon have joined forces to help you perform your best and stay healthy. Doug Thurston, BSIM race director, will be joined by a Community Hospital physical therapist and a nutritionist as well as a Montage Wellness Center fitness trainer.

Getting started. Learn the best way to start on your running journey for health, fitness, or training for your first 5k. Taught by Montage Wellness Center Fitness Trainer
Running stronger. Learn tips for improving your running speed and/or endurance. What training methods are best to prepare you for a longer run, such as the Big Sur International Marathon or for improving your speed. Taught by Doug Thurston, race director, Big Sur International Marathon.
